What is written on the sign: This mineral water is said to have been discovered by a monk at Seongguksa Temple around the 16th century. It is said that the name 'Five-Saek Mineral Water' was given because of the unusual five-color flower growing in the back yard of Seongguksa Temple. This mineral water is said to be effective for gastrointestinal diseases, nervous breakdowns, skin diseases, and neuralgia, as well as having a unique taste and color because it is mixed with sodium and iron.
Designated as a natural monument in 2011.
