พระมหากษัตริย์ไทย (Phra Maha Kasat Thai) หรือ King of Thailand ได้รับการเคารพอย่างสูงจากประชาชนไทย (highly respected by the Thai people) เพราะพระองค์เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความเป็นหนึ่งเดียวและวัฒนธรรมไทย (symbol of unity and Thai culture) การแสดงความเคารพต่อพระมหากษัตริย์เป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญมากในสังคมไทย (showing respect to the King is very important in Thai society) ตัวอย่างเช่น เวลาเห็นพระบรมฉายาลักษณ์ (when seeing a portrait of the King) คนไทยจะหยุดและยืนตรง (will stop and stand still) นอกจากนี้ ในวันสำคัญต่าง ๆ เช่น วันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา (the King’s birthday) คนไทยจะมีการจัดงานเฉลิมฉลอง (celebration events) เพื่อแสดงความรักและความเคารพ (to show love and respect) การใช้คำว่า "องค์" (the term "His Majesty") เป็นการแสดงความเคารพเมื่อต้องพูดถึงพระมหากษัตริย์ (it is a sign of respect when talking about the King) เช่น "องค์พระมหากษัตริย์ทรงมีพระคุณต่อประชาชน" (His Majesty has kindness to the people) โดยรวมแล้ว พระมหากษัตริย์ไทยถือเป็น "heart of the nation" (หัวใจของชาติ) ที่ประชาชนสมควรให้เกียรติและเคารพ (that the people should honor and respect)
