Mount Rigi

Mount Rigi is about 1798 meters high. You can see beautiful scenery.
You can go up and down by rail and gondola, so you can choose the way you want.
I think the best way to go up is by train and to go down by cable car.

If you are departing from Luzern, you can take a boat to Vitznau and go up by rail.
Or you can go to Arth-Goldau and take the train up.
To take the gondola down, you have to walk to Rigi Kaltbad. The descending place is Weggis, so make sure you understand your destination well.
