Phan Xi Păng (Fansipan | Fansipan | Fansipan)
It is a mountain 3143 meters above sea level. For reference, Mt. Halla is about 1947 meters high and Mt. Baekdu is about 2744 meters. It is the highest mountain in Southeast Asia. Unlike other regions, Panshipang and Sapa are cold, so you can see snow. Take the train from Sun Plaza in Sapa to the cable car stop. If you go up to the top of the mountain by cable car, you will find a temple, a statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and a huge statue of Buddha. Water flows next to the Buddha statue. When you go up the mountain, there is a monorail, and you can go up by riding or walking. The cost of the cable car is expensive compared to the price of Vietnam, but I think it is a must-go place.
